St. Patrick’s Day Drinks

It’s time to drink Green!  Here are some green drinks to help with your St. Patrick’s day planning.

Apple Martini

Sour Apple Martini

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Sour Apple Pucker®
  • 1 oz. Apple Juice

Garnish: Cherry

Instructions

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Midori Sour

Midori Sour Drink

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Midori® Melon Liqueur
  • Sweet & Sour Mix

Garnish: Cherry

Instructions

Pour Midori into a glass with ice. Fill it with sweet and sour.

Green Spider

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Crème de Menthe (Green)

Garnish: No Garnish

Instructions

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Flying Grasshopper

Flying Grasshopper Drink

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz. Crème de Menthe (Green)
  • 3/4 oz. Crème de Cacao (White)
  • 3/4 oz. Vodka
  • 3/4 oz. Cream / Half & Half

Garnish: Mint Leaves (Optional)

Instructions

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Green Beer is a must at most St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and it is very easy to make.

There are also plenty of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from like this Lime Sherbet Punch from Paula Dean.  This is a great punch to serve at an adult or children’s party.

Another green drink to try is a Lime Smoothie.

Blend the following ingredients in a blender and serve.

  • 1.5 Cups Orange Juice
  • 4 Scoops lime sherbet
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 6 Tablespoons chopped mint
  • 4 kiwifruits, peeled and halved
  • 2 Cups crushed ice

Whichever drink you you decide on, make it green and always drink responsibly.
