Memorial Day Barbecue

It’s almost time for a long weekend so plan a barbecue with family and friends.  Start with patriotic decorations like this one from Taste of Home.

Plum Party has some fun decorations for a party like these place mats and pull apart crackers.

Sur la Table also has some great patriotic decor.

Start the barbecue by serving a Sweet Liberty Fruit Wreath.

On the grill, try Beef Kebabs, Grilled Honey Barbecue Chicken or don’t forget the Cheeseburgers.

Serve cold Raspberry Lemonade with colored sugar on the cups.

For dessert, end with this delicious Patriotic Trifle.

Memorial Day is a time for remembrance and observance but it is also a time for socializing and celebrating.  Have a great barbecue!

More Graduation Ideas

There are so many graduation party themes that you can have.  Whether it’s high school, college, kindergarten or medical school, there are endless possiblities to plan a great celebration.

This table could be used in a formal setting in a fun way or it would be great for a kindergarten graduation party.  Just use black paper on the table and outline the guests name to have a chalkboard effect.

Here is a great idea for cupcake toppers.

I love this idea from Everyday Celebrating!  They are syringe jello shots.  These would be great to use for a medical graduation party!

Plum Party has some fun party supplies for graduation parties.

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.
