Cone Shaped Bouquets

Wouldn’t these be great favors for a bridal shower or a baby shower.

You could use these as decorations or centerpieces during the party and then send the guests home with the colorful flowers.

You can get the tutorial for these here.

Bumble Bee Party

I had a friend ask for some ideas for a Bee birthday party which was great because the next day, I saw The TomKat Studio’s new Bumble Bee Collection and I instantly got inspired!!

Here are some other great ideas:

The TomKat Studio has some adorable invitations in the Bumble Bee Collection.  Decorate using yellow and black like yellow tissue flowers; yellow and white paper lanterns; and a colorful daisy centerpiece.  You can serve a hive cake; bumblebee banana cupcakes; or bumblebee cookies.  Send your guests home with bubbles that you can make yourself like these from Martha StewartLolliblog has a beautiful yellow and white candy bar that you could get some ideas from.  Imprintables also featured a wonderful bee party with great details.

This theme would be great for a birthday party, a baby shower or a spring gathering.

Happy St. Patick’s Day

Today I am enjoying the day with my kids!  We had green eggs for breakfast, made delicious mint brownies and had a leprachaun scavenger hunt.

We used the Dark Chocolate Mint Brownies from Bakerella to make for a party.  We couldn’t find any green mint chips so we used the Andes mint chips which still had a touch of green in them.

Also…a BIG thank you to Kim from the TomKat Studio for her great printables!!!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!
