Mojito Madness

Mohitos are great spring and summer drinks and of course are great to serve at a party!  The mojito was born in Havana, Cuba.  Traditional mojitos are made with mint, rum, powdered sugar, lime, and club soda.
The Original Mojito

8 mint leaves
2 oz white rum
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz chilled club soda
Here are a couple of different recipes for other types of mojitos.

A “Paisley” Baby Shower

This is such a beautiful baby shower from Under the Sycamore that will definitely get you excited about spring.  It is filled with wonderful colors and creative decorations.

The guests played a fun game where they had to finish the sentence to phrases like  “When it comes to her daddy….” and  “When she is a teenager…”

I love this banner and my favorite thing about it is that Starbucks coffee sleeves were used behind the letters.

An advice jar is always a great item to have at a shower especially for first time moms!

Easter Place Cards

Here are some cute ideas for some Easter Place Cards to make your guests feel special.
Incorporate the place card with the food that you are serving by placing the name on a spoon and inserting it into the food.
These would be great for the children’s table.  Simply cut out a rabbit and add the name to it.
