Pink and Gray Chevron Baptism

This gorgeous baptism was sent in from Sofia in Mexico.  I love the wonderful colors of pink and gray that were used in this special celebration!

Sofia shared that her family lives in Mexico, where a Baptism is an important religious event but it is also regarded as an opportunity to celebrate with family and friends.  It is a tradition in Mexico that after the baptism ceremony you celebrate with a brunch or lunch party.  Sofia and her mom, who runs a small business in Mexico making dessert tables and candy bars, did all of the design for this celebration.  She was lucky enough to have a wonderful mom who made ALL of the goodies on the dessert table and the favors.  Sofia is a huge fan of chevron stripes so that was the starting point for her inspiration. They used her milkglass collection for the beautiful centerpieces.  The straws, chevron striped favor bags, and pink favor boxes are from sweetlulu.com.

What a wonderful fiesta for a special girl!
