Leap Year Cocktail
How are you celebrating the extra day that we have this year? Why not celebrate with this Leap Year cocktail?
This Leap Year cocktail was invented at The Savoy Hotel in London on February 29th, 1928, and legend suggests that it has spurred on many marriage proposals!
Ingredients:
-2 oz gin
-1/2 oz sweet vermouth
-1/2 oz Grand Marnier orange liqueur
-1/4 oz lemon juice -lemon twist for garnish
Preparation:
-Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
-Stir well.
-Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
-Garnish with a lemon twist.
