Kindergarten Celebration

My daughter asked if she could have some friends over to celebrate her Kindergarten graduation and of course I never pass up a celebration!  We decided to do this at the very last minute so I had to put something together very quickly that I thought the girls would enjoy.  Luckily, I always file away free downloads that I like so I wanted to share a couple of the ones that I was able to use.

(I’m using an old camera so the pictures aren’t great!)

When the girls arrived, I had a Graduation Project for all of them to do.  We filled out the form I found on Snackpicks, had all of our friends sign the back and then made hand prints.  After that, it was time for outside water time with fun water balloon fights too.

For lunch I set out some punch and made diploma peanut butter roll-ups.

I found these cute ice cream bowls at the Dollar store and was so excited to get to use them!

They all made their own sundaes and I have to admit that they all looked pretty tasty!

These were some printables that I saw at Living Locurto that I added to the toppings for the sundaes.

For favors, I made these milk boxes from The Sweetest Occasion and put candy in it.¬† My picture didn’t turn out good so I included one of their examples.

I can’t believe that my little girl’s year of Kindergarten is over but I guess it marks the beginning of many more milestones to come!

End of School Celebrations

It is that time of year that parents have to plan what to do with their kids for the summer.¬† Before you start stressing over summer events have an end of the year celebration with your child’s class and teachers.¬† There are so many options in planning something like this.¬† You can keep it simple and plan a picnic at the park so the kids can play, have a pizza party, celebrate with an awards party or¬† have a “Welcome Summer” party outside by the pool.

Everyday Celebrating had a great post on School’s Out from Family Fun.

I stumbled upon this great post from Roots and Wings about End of the School Parties.  They have some great ideas for your kids.

More Graduation Ideas

There are so many graduation party themes that you can have.¬† Whether it’s high school, college, kindergarten or medical school, there are endless possiblities to plan a great celebration.

This table could be used in a formal setting in a fun way or it would be great for a kindergarten graduation party.  Just use black paper on the table and outline the guests name to have a chalkboard effect.
