This is a Sugar Bear Inspiration Board that I did for a first birthday.  The birthday girl is known as “Sugar Bear” and what a fun birthday this could be by incorporating cute girly bears with everything sweet!

Place setting; Cupcake & Cake; Bear sandwiches; Birthday bears; Candy jars; Teddy bear party table; Gift bag

Other ideas:

Food – serve snacks such as teddy grahams, gummy bears, colorful fruit and lemonade

Decor – set frames out of the birthday girl documenting the year.  You can even make a frame by putting gummy bears or sweetheart candies on the frame.  Set out teddy bears holding big hearts or bags of candy.

Activities – make a stuffed teddy bear; have the kids decorate a teddy bear plastic container with markers and stickers then have them fill it with candy

Favors – Set up a “Sweet” bar full of candy to let the guests take home
