Super Bowl 2013 Team Cocktails

Support your team on Sunday with one of these specialty cocktails.

Harbaugh Bloody Sunday
4 ounces Jalapeño-Infused Tequilla
3 ounces Fresh-Squeezed Blood Orange Juice
1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
2 ounces Orange Liqueur
Directions:  In a cocktail shaker, combine jalapeño-infused Camarena Silver Tequila, blood orange juice, lime juice and Cointreau. Fill with ice, shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a blood orange peel.
*Jalapeño-Infused Tequila – Slice up a fresh jalapeño pepper and allow it to steep in 1 cup of Camarena Silver Tequila for 2 hours. Remove the slices by pouring the mixture through a mess strainer.

Kaepernick’s Keg
1 ounce Spiced Rum
1 ounce Guava Nectar
1 ounce Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
4 ounces Light Beer
Lime Wheel for Garnish
Salted Rim
Directions: Rim beer mug with lime. Dip rim into salt. Fill with ice. Add rum, guava nectar and grapefruit juice. Top with beer. Stir lightly. Garnish with lime wheel.

Football Fudge

If you need a quick treat for the Super Bowl, try this Football Fudge.

Simply whip up your favorite fudge recipe and then cut it into mini football shapes.  Top it with white icing and then serve for a great game day treat!

 EASY FUDGE

 

Ingredients
  • 3 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • dash salt
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
  1. Line an 8 x 8 inch metal pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In a medium sauce pan, combine the chocolate chips with the condensed milk and salt. Heat over low until chocolate melts, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Fudge mixture should be smooth and gloss. Spread fudge mixture in prepared pan.
  3. Allow fudge to cool in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. To cut, lift foil out of pan and then peel off of fudge. Keep refrigerated in an air-tight container.
