Make Your Own Citronella Candles & Torches

Do you love to entertain outside but you are having mosquito problems?  Here is a great DIY project for you to create your own citronella candles.  You can create some candles or torches to fit your party theme and also to help keep the bugs away from your guests.

Garden Therapy shares a great tutorial on how to make citronella candles from cans that you already have.

Make floating candles like these from Positively Splendid to set out with a great tablescape.

Save your wine bottles to create these wonderful wine bottle torches from Design Sponge.

These bottles are dressed up with marbles to give them some color from The Happy Housewife.

If you prefer beer over wine, then grab your beer bottle and make this glass bottle tiki torch from Instructables.

Summer Teacher Gift

The last day of school is almost here for us and I know some of you have already had your last day and are now onto summer activities.  This year I made a quick summer gift for my kids teachers.  I included a magazine, beach towel, cup with candy in it and sunscreen.  I had seen this idea on Pinterest and thought it would be a great summer gift.

I came across the cute printable tags from Twiddler House which were perfect for this gift.

There are always great gift ideas on Pinterest!  You can follow me here on Pinterest!

Have you made any fun gifts this year?
