Update: We have a winner (this contest is closed!)
Congratulations Lucy!

If you are planning to relax with a nice glass of wine this weekend, then I have a new pairing that you should try! How about gourmet cookies with your wine? Cookies and Corks has created all natural, gourmet sweet and savory cookies that pair perfectly with wine. Cookies & Corks offers three different pairing boxes full of cookies that can be drank with red, white, or sparkling wines. Some of the cookies can be drank with a variety of wines, too. Cookies & Corks has pairing charts to help you complement the cookies with wines.
I received the Sparkling Wine Pairing Box for review. The box of fifteen cookies included five Zesty Lemon, five Parmesan Thyme, and five Sea Salt Chocolate Oatmeal cookies. My favorite was the Zesty Lemon! If you like a sweet and salty taste then you should definitely try the Sea Salt Chocolate Oatmeal cookies. Even if you’re not a wine drinker, these cookies would be delicious by themselves or with your favorite beverage.
Since Spring has arrived, these would be great to serve at an Easter brunch, a spring picnic or take to someone as a nice hostess gift.
Now it’s your chance to win your own pack of Cookies & Corks:
The winner will receive 1 box of EACH flavor combination:
RED = White Cheddar Rosemary, Shortbread, Espresso Chocolate Peanut Butter
WHITE = Apricot Sage, Peanut Butter Chocolate chip, Ginger Molasses
SPARKLING = Parmesan Thyme, Zesty Lemon, Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Oatmeal
To enter to win, simply leave a comment here stating how you would use these cookies.
BONUS ENTRIES:
Please leave a separate comment for each entry.

I would use them as hostess gifts
i am following on Facebook (so glad I am with an event coming up next weekend)
I would throw a party to benefit our local Humane Society.
I’d supply the wine (several different reds, whites, and sparkling) and of course Cookies & Corks products. Each guest would bring either cat or dog food (which would be donated to the Humane Society the day after the party) and a picture of their pet(s).
The pictures of the pets would be set up among the table containing the wine and Cookies & Corks.
The tastings would be blind. And each time a guest found a taste combination they absolutely love (meaning one of the Cookies and one of the wines), they would either bark or meow out loud to notify the crowd!
Then the rest of the guests would salute the barker/meower in a toast. And for each toast, I’d throw a money donation into a jar, which would also go to the Humane Society.
I tweeted too…
I would use them to celebrate with friends later my 40th birthday & 15th wedding anniversary that is today. I just became a flight attendant and don’t hesitate to celebrate with good wine when I’m off, the cookies would be a treat because I have a sweet tooth.

Wine & cookies for the (adult) relatives!
I would donate the cookies to my church. My church is the most wonderful inviting place! They almost always have treats and goodies after assembly such as lemonade and cookies. This would be a nice addition! And maybe the wine can be used in an auction to help raise money for future missions!
And if there were enough cookies I may just bring some to work because I work with a great bunch of people!
I would use them by eating them
