Party Ideas and Party Planning
If you want to keep your decor simple for St. Patrick’s day here are some simple but elegant splashes of green.
Use fresh herbs as a simple centerpiece.
Fill lanterns with natural greens.
Use moss to accent your decor.
Remember that you don’t have to go overboard for a nice table setting.
After seeing this party, I had to feature some of the great ideas! This was a housewarming party with a marshmallow roast & red wine toast.
A gourmet s’more bar was set up near the fire with easy access to all the roasting supplies and extra goodies.
There were spices set out to enhance the s’mores.
How great is this s’more tree!!!
They also served milk and coffee with marshmallow stir sticks.
I love how the word Toast was etched with cinnamon on the glasses!
Be sure to check out all of the great details and printable projects from this party here.
Spring is coming soon (I hope) and if you’re planning a baby shower here are some fun ideas to try as well as some of spring’s color palettes to decorate with. I found some great color schemes and ideas from Vera Bradley.

I love the brown and aqua color here and the coconut cake looks delicious.

Here is a great setting for an outside baby shower. Wouldn’t this Curried Chutney Cheese Spread disguised as a rattle be great to serve.

Greens, browns and aqua blues are great colors to work with for a spring baby shower.

You could mix the pink setting with these cute Posy Pinwheel Cookies.
What beautiful colors to use for such special occasions!
