Spring/Easter Vintage Picnic

Even though Easter is gone, spring is here and this submission from Jennifer Bell from Discarded Couture has some great inspiration for a vintage picnic.  Jennifer’s idea for this party is to teach people to up-cycle. Everything in this shoot is made from recycled products.

A few of favorite things from this shoot are:

*  the vintage bike with a basket full of flowers

*  the vintage bunnies

*  the hanging lanterns

Ribbon and Lantern Backdrop

Although it doesn’t feel like spring to most people today this would be a great spring backdrop.  Simply use ribbon and lanterns to create this wonderful backdrop.

Spray painted wine bottles centerpiece

The weather keeps teasing us here with glimpses of spring and I can’t wait for the spring weather to stay!  It is fun to entertain outdoors and this would be an easy centerpiece to make for an outdoor or indoor celebration.

Simply spray paint wine bottles to match your decor and place flowers inside like a vase.  I especially like the gold and silver tones that were used on these bottles.
